The great clean up

Chinese new year is almost upon us, about a weeks time i’ll be going round visiting relatives and they in turn come to my house and get overdose on extremely carbonated orange juice. But before that, its always customary to clean up our humble abode. Toys are nice but once they reach a certain number, maintenance can be quite challenging. Then again I realized I haven’t really updated on the layout and posing for sometime already haha…

Nope I have not forgotten my nendoriods. I still love these series but due to budget constrains I have stopped collecting.  And a funny thing is, as I was cleaning them, I can remember all the fun stories I made up with them. I haven’t been posing them in their attack forms for quite sometime haha. Well these three do make a fine Charlies’ Angels combination would you say 😛

My current zoid collection. One revoltech and two kotobukiya. As for the 2 takara tomy ones they are stored in shelving. Regrettably I don’t have enough space to display all of them so I have to selectively display. But i’ll probably rotate them out for next year 😛

My favorite zoid of the lot, the menacing genosaurer!

My Super Robot Chogokins are getting their own little corner this year. Cursed Bandai for releasing so my tempting stuff….the resistance is breaking down as I am getting my bonus tommorrow lol….

This year, I am displaying mazinger Z with his scrander jet on keke. And nothing beats the King of Braves with his iconic Goldion Hammer!

I also started recently collecting LBX kits, not all of them but just certain ones that I liked. The ones here on display LBX pandora and LBX Emperor ^^

And some of my gunplas that I decided to display. Mainly those from Unicorn as its my fave series at the moment. My get Age-i-fied next round haha especially when Age 2 comes!

Well I wish everyone a happy chinese new year in advance!! Hope I can finished the cleaning by this weekend lol…still have 10 more nendoroids to re-display!!

Till the next post!

  1. Happy New Year in advance buddy! Nice arrangements, my wife is always nagging me about the odd mecha or Gundam thats cluttering up the table 😀

  2. Wwesome display and all of them nicely build and some painted very well truly looks very nice on display 😀

and Happy New Year may I ask red packet in advance too ? 😛

    • Heh haha thanks for the well wishes man!

Ah the HGUC Nu isn’t modded, just arranged the funnels in a different direction 😛 Genobreaker is a really fun revoltech!

  3. Finally, the rest of your collection gets some attention. XD
Wow… two SRCs… good thing my resistance to it is good.

Ah~ I see that your custom Jesta is done, eh?

    (bonus… wow… something I could only dream of… T_T)

    • SRCs are really tempting so far I have resisted most of the line up…the only one that will get me to open my wallet is probably daizengar or a genesic GGG….

Hehe the jesta isn’t done, just that I feel like displaying him 😛

    • Haha there is still one week to go!! But then somehow last minute clean up seems more efficient lol!! Happy New year to you too!

  4. happy chinese new year bro 😀

never knew you had a MG Shin Musha MKII, but nyways you have a neater set-up than my room xD as all your collection is in harmony with each other whilst mine is still displayed but not in proper positions 😀

still eyeing for that Bonta Kun RD, hopefully i can score one this year

    • Same to you! Haha I am sure i posted the MKII on my FB account 😛 I takes quite a lot of time to rearrange!!!! I spend nearly half the day doing this lol. Hehe all the best of scoring that RD Bonta kun! Its one of the best RD for me 😛

  5. Speaking of arrangements, I’ll put some of the big stuff back to their boxes, PG kits, Transformers and Hot Toys stuff cluttered all over my untidy shelf recently.

    • Same, but I only kept the large boxes like Kshatriya’s and a few old MGs. They are great for packing back some of the kits that I don’t want to display this year. Shelve space is limited so have to be selective.

    • I also need space for my rather huge Turret plush.
What about an urban color scheme for the Jesta?
“When Life gives you lemons, we make combustible lemons, burn Life’s house down” Cave Johnson FTW

  6. cleaning is a must to keep your figure healthy ^__^ sometimes you can find those rare items like pubic hairs if you lucky LOL….

“Gong Xi Fa Cai” to you and your wife and kids and family and your whole toys and figures stuff

  7. When i don’t have the money i try to stay completely ignorant of all the websites i buy stuff from. Okay this is not always possible but it works for me quite well ^^
Anyway, definitely cleaning is a pain but it is incredibly satisfying when you are done with it right 🙂

    • Happy new year to you too Xine. Ah but I won’t recommend getting kotobukiya kits for Little TP …they are not very child friendly 😛

  8. it’s a bit late, but Happy Chinese New Year to you!

    I like the variety of toys you have there! I may need to rearrange to do some dusting for my stuff eventually, though I will not be looking forward to move my numerous 1/144 tanks! @_@;

  9. Haha better late than never my friend. Well I love having variety, sometimes need to take a break from gunpla and enjoy some photography with figures and other type of mecha haha.

I can’t imagine cleaning tanks, they seem much much harder with all that detail and small parts!!!
